- Early in the Revolutionary War
- British defeated the Americans at the Battle of Bunker Hill in MA
- Although they lost, the Battle gave the Americans an important confidential boost
- most of the fighting occurred on nearby Breed's Hill

- Occurred on March 5th, 1770
- Battle between "red coats" and the Colonists
- Remembered as a big event to help excite the Colonies
- The battle involved shooting, along with the throwing of snowballs and rocks
- redcoats injured 3 people and killed 2 people
Siege of Dorchester Heights
- Occurred in March 2-3rd, in 1776
- General George Washington wanted to take Boston back from the British
